Rather than MIUI 12 update, the Redmi Note 7 is receiving September 2020 security patch. The latest update comes with a build number V11.0.5.0.QFGINXM and weighs 431MB in size. We recommend updating your device as soon as you get the update as it will make your device more secure than earlier. Xiaomi has not announced any time interval for the MIUI 12 update but some reports suggest that the Redmi Note 7 will get the MIUI 12 update sometime in October.
