According to a Sammobile report, the newest security update for Galaxy Fold is rolling out on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, C-Spire, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile. It is bundled with the firmware version F900U1UEU6FUK5. We don’t have the complete changelog yet. But, the update reportedly does not bring major changes to the device, like new features or changes to the user interface. However, it might include some general bug fixing and device stability improvements.
Samsung Galaxy Fold users in the US have started receiving the latest software updates. Those who have not received it yet should manually update their phone by navigating to Settings » Software updates. Samsung released the original Galaxy Fold back in 2019 with Android 9 Pie out of the box. The device has already received two major OS upgrades. As a result, it is currently running on Android 11 OS. Unfortunately, Galaxy Fold is not on the official list of eligible Galaxy devices for Android 12 upgrades. However, it will continue to receive regular security updates for a while.
