The improvements have been confirmed officially on the company’s community forum with all criteria and other details. If you own a Realme 9 Pro, your smartphone must be running on any of these builds: RMX3471_11_A.42, RMX3471_11_A.43, RMX3471_11_A.44, RMX3471_11_A.45. If you own a Realme 9 Pro+ 5G, your smartphone must be running on any of these builds: RMX3392_11.A.12, RMX3392_11.A. Both devices will soon receive the first major software update after launching with Realme UI 3.0 and Android 12. The final, stable version will be out soon, but if you can’t wait to test out the new features, you can already update your phone to the open beta version. Make sure you have adequate data to download the update before you attempt to update to the open beta. Given the magnitude of the update, the file size for downloading will be rather substantial.
Now let’s talk about the changes; however, Realme’s forum post from this time around didn’t include any fresh information. New aquamorphic design elements, more new colour palettes, the new Quantum Engine 4.0, an optimised font for better readability, an optimised widget design, large folders for the home screen, new editing tools for the screenshot, support for Bitmoji in Android on the Go, improved Hyperboost GPA 4.0 for gaming, and more are all part of Realme’s push to upgrade its phones to Android 13. Getting the Android 13 open beta build for the Realme 9 Pro or 9 Pro+ 5G is as simple as going to the Software Update section of Settings, tapping the gear icon in the upper right corner, selecting Trial version, selecting open beta, and entering the necessary data. Take a backup of your data just in case something goes wrong after you update the software. Don’t forget to give your phone a minimum 50% charge.
