The latest software update for Huawei Y8p comes with the software version EMUI 10.1.0.211. It brings the January 2022 security patch that fixes dozens of vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy. The update is currently rolling out in limited regions and should reach more regions in the coming days. Huawei P50 is also receiving the January 2022 security patch with the HarmonyOS 2 version 2.0.1.190 update. It is an upgrade from the HarmonyOS base version 2.0.1.186. Currently, the update is rolling out to the vanilla Huawei P50 and will reach other P50 series models soon.
