The simplest method would be to make a few modifications to the file before saving it. Start off with a blank MS Excel spreadsheet, enter some content into the cells, and colour in the blanks. You can press the back arrow and choose “Yes” when you’re prompted if you want to save the file. Check and see if you’re now able to paste the information to the file you’ve just saved. Close the file, exit the app, and wait for a minute or two if the problem is still there.
